ShipOnSite Gives Back

ShipOnSite owner Frank Espinal believes that businesses should always find a way to give back to the community they serve. He serves on several non-profit boards within the Grand Strand community and donates time and money to other well-known national non-profit charities.

ShipOnSite is a direct supporter of several local non-profit organizations in the Grand Strand. Near and dear to its heart is the love of animals. Since 2007, ShipOnSite has been an anchor sponsor of a pet adoption program with several local radio stations. The program is called ‘Best Friend of the Week’ (BFW).

Every week a local animal shelter brings a cat or dog to the locally sponsored radio stations and they feature a pet for adoption. Aside from sponsoring the air time, ShipOnSite helps the local shelters by collecting donated pet food and supplies in his store and gets them distributed to the area animal shelters. ShipOnSite offer discounts on shipping to those who donate. To date (2019), ShipOnSite has collected and distributed more than 63,750 pounds worth of food and supplies.

On September 6th, 2019, ShipOnSite announced a fund-raising project for art and animal lovers alike. In its capacity as the anchor sponsor of the BFW, ShipOnSite is working with the S. Cato Art Gallery in Charleston, South Carolina and world renowned artist Dean Russo to increase awareness of the plight of homeless animals. Dean Russo’s artwork is being used as a visual reminder of the need to promote adoption and to raise badly needed funds for shelter groups in the Grand Strand and throughout the United States.
